Val Riche Copolia Trail: This fairly shady trail is graded
as "medium" and runs through the forests of the Morne Seychellois
National Park.Our qualified,experienced guide is fully conversant with the
trail and its endemic fauna & flora: Sooglossif gardeneri, believed to
be the world's smallest frog; Sunbird (Nectarinia dussumieri), Blue Pigeons
(Alectroenas, Stick insects, the Pitcher Plant [Nepenthes pervillei], Seychelles'
Orchids, Palm and Pandanus trees.
The summit of Copolia is crowned by a vast granite floor,
500 metres above sea level, and offers spectacular views of the verdant hills
behind Victoria, the deep blue ocean, in-lying islands and Praslin on the
distant horizon.
